Tim Love
Tim Love is Vice Chairman of Omnicom Group Inc.
An active member of the advertising and international business community, Mr. Love serves on several boards, including The Advertising Council, The American Advertising Federation (AAF), The Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), The Heart of America Foundation, the Government Relations Council of the Association of American Advertising Agencies (4A's), the Yale Center for Customer Insight, and Miami (Ohio) University's Business Advisory Council.
Mr. Love was also a founding member and first Chairman of the 4A's Minority Advertising Internship program and a founding member of Business for Diplomatic Action (BDA), an industry volunteer organization focused on improving international business cooperation.
He began his career in advertising after graduating with a Masters in Communication degree from the University of Illinois, where he was a James Webb Young Scholar and was named most outstanding graduate in 1972. His undergraduate work was performed at Miami University in Ohio, where he majored in Marketing with a minor in Fine Arts Design.
Prior to his becoming Vice Chairman of Omnicom, Mr. Love was President-Global Clients at Omnicom's TBWA Worldwide. He was also President/CEO of G1 Worldwide (a joint venture between TBWA and the Hakuhodo agency) where he was responsible for the agency's global client, Nissan Motor Company.
Before joining TBWA in May, 2004, Mr. Love, 56, was Vice-Chairman International at Saatchi & Saatchi, serving as relationship manager for the holding company's global Procter & Gamble business. During that time, he also supervised the UBS Wealth Management account. Over the course of his 33-year career in advertising and in addition to his work with P&G and Nissan, Mr. Love has held senior client relationship positions in the US and abroad, for clients like Kraft, Duracell, Masterfoods, UBS, General Mills/Pillsbury, and Glenmore Distilleries.
