Tim Long
Tim Long is a managing director and a senior research analyst in the Equity Research Department at Banc of America Securities LLC, where he covers the Wireless Equipment and Data Networking and Wireline Equipment industries.
In 2005, Long ranked third on the Institutional Investor "All-America Research Team" for his coverage of the Wireless Equipment companies, and in 2002 and 2003, he was named a "Runner-Up." In 2002, The Wall Street Journal named him the number-three stock-picker in the Communications Equipment category. In 2003, he ranked number three in the Greenwich Associates survey for his coverage of the Wireless Equipment sector.
Previously, Long was the lead Wireless Equipment analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston. Before that, he was an analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he covered the Wireless and Communications Equipment industry. He began his career at Telcordia Technologies, Inc.
Long earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and a master of businessadministration from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
